Robert W. Munden, Class of 1960

Robert W. Munden ’60, died July 22, 2019. He received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree at Otterbein and his Master of Music Degree from Indiana State Teachers College (now IUP).  Bob was a music teacher in the Norwin, Connellsville, and Hempfield Area School Districts.  Bob was also involved with music at Otterbein United Methodist Church for nearly 60 years and retired as Director of Music Emeritus in January 2019. Bob was born May 26, 1937 to the late J. Robert ’35 and Ruth E. (Stengel) ’35 Munden. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannine F. (Gross) Munden, children, grandchildren & a great granddaughter, along with numerous relatives. Bob was proceeded in death by a son.
