Ronald Votaw, Class of 1972

Ronald Votaw ’72 died March 7, 2019. He was born on April 26, 1945 to the late Henry and Martha Votaw. Ronald graduated from Otterbein with a bachelor of arts in Sociology as an adult student. During his time at Otterbein he was active on the men’s basketball team and as a member of the Zeta Phi fraternity. Ronald was also a member of the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his sister Barbara and survived by his wife Kathleen, son Guy Dooling Votaw, stepdaughters, grandchildren, and niece and nephew. He will be remembered as a caring man who enjoyed telling jokes and tall tales.
