Ruth Wigginton Millisor, Class of 1966

Mary Ruth Wigginton Millisor ’66 died Feb. 26, 2020. Ruth was born Friday, May 1, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Henry and Mary Samuels Wigginton. Ruth went back to college with two young boys at home; she earned her bachelors degree from Otterbein College while she taught school, maintained a household, and still had time to show her family love. Ruth retired from teaching in the Columbus Public School System after 30 years of service.

Ruth was raised in the church in Louisville, then became an early member of North Linden Baptist Church in Columbus. Her musical talent allowed her the opportunity to play piano during services as well as accompanying a gospel trio. Ruth moved to West Chester, Ohio in 1998. She was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Ruth was preceded in death by: husband, Robert Millisor; and brothers, Wayne, Kenny, and Buster Wigginton. Ruth is survived by: sons, Dan and Lee Ann Hanaford ’79 Millisor, and Bob and Teresa Millisor; grandchildren, Kristen, Eric, Joseph, Adam, Ethan, Kasey, Jeremy, Adam, and Dana; great-grandchildren, Luca, Wesley, Jordan, and Jaelyn; and many loving family members and friends.
