Thomas Shields ’58 died April 18, 2016. He was a high school chemistry teacher for two years prior to his career as a pharmacist and owner of Shields Pharmacy. He served on the North Union (OH) School Board for 21 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sara; four children; nine grandchildren; and relative, James Oman ’78.
