Warren Wheeler, Class of 1967

Warren Wheeler ’67 died March 14, 2023.  He was a member of Jonda, choir and the wrestling team while at Otterbein.  After graduating with a business major, he taught middle school math and coached wrestling before joining a family business, Hunter Insurance, from which he retired in 2012 after 40 years.  He served on the Medina (OH) City School Board for nine years. 

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, Steve (Suzi) and Eric (Sarah Catherine); daughters, Sarah (Matt) and Molly (Trace); and twelve grandchildren.
