William Beougher, Class of 1967

William Beougher ’67 died Dec. 24, 2020. Bill was born August 5, 1941 to the late Carl and Marjorie George Beougher. Bill was a 1959 graduate of Lancaster High School. He attended Otterbein College and received his BA Degree from Parsons College. He was an ordained minister with the United Methodist Church and preached for several years at various Ohio Churches.

In 2013 Bill retired from Quick CPS after more than twenty years’ service. He had a passion for singing, and he, along with his wife Margaret, sang at many church singalongs throughout the Central Ohio area.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret Beougher; and his brother, George Beougher. He is survived by his daughter Carla (Steve) Wengert; his son, James Beougher; his stepsons Ralph (Misti) Green and Marvin (Sandi) Green. He is also survived by Grandchildren Tristin (Leanna) Wengert, Megan Wengert, and Evan Wengert, and several great grandchildren. He was the 2nd child in a family of seven children and is survived by 1 brother David (Jane) Beougher and 4 sisters, Marilyn Nauta, June Ryan, Joyce (Roger) Boyer, and Mary (John) Faber.
