Yvonne J. Fryman Millikin, Class of 1959

Yvonne J. Fryman Millikin ’59 died May 26, 2018. She is a 1959 Otterbein alumna. Yvonne spent 40 years with Deaf Missions International. The highlight of her life was traveling four times as a missionary to build Deaf Missions “Silent City” in Bogota, Colombia. She played bells and sang in the choir at Antioch United Methodist Church. She also worked as a Macy’s sales clerk for 25 years. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and D.C. Fryman.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Floyd K. Millikin; children, Jerry, Cindy Tynes, and Scott; grandchildren, Suni, Ryan, Aaron, Taryn, Justin, Ashley, and Lambert III; great grandchildren; Krysia, Brenden, Jeremiah, Holden, and Tresten; great-great-grandchild, Liam Walters; sister, Jeannine Hollst, and numerous nieces and nephews.
