Becker Art Gallery Artist Reception – Spring 2026


The Courtright Memorial Library proudly presents the photography of Otterbein 2018 alumnus, Jacob Strous. We will be holding a reception for his display in the Becker Art Gallery, on the Lower Level of the Library, on March 5th from 6-7:30pm. Uplifting Queer Voices: Poetry Open Mic


This March, join us in celebrating Gender Equity Month with Uplifting Queer Voices. This open mic program will feature poetry from the LGBTQIA+ community, refreshments, and an art station with a group collage activity. Anyone can participate – students, faculty, staff, and community members are all welcome. The event will be held at the Common Book Atrium, on the second floor of the Courtright Memorial Library, on Thursday, March 5th, from 6-8 p.m. INST approved.

Fables on Tables presents: BIPOC in TTRPGs


Join the Courtright Memorial Library in collaboration with Otterbein's Fables on Tables to learn about and discuss the presence of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) space/community! A Successful Darwin Day Celebration on Feb. 12th, 2026!


Darwin Day is held each year at schools, universities, and museums across the globe to commemorate Charles Darwin's birthday. Events are designed to celebrate and seek inspiration in Darwin’s revolutionary scientific thinking, intellectual curiosity, and moral courage. Game Night at the Library!


Come play tabletop games with us! We will have an assortment from our Game Collection, including board games and card games of varying difficulty. Bring a friend, your whole crew, or swing by solo to hang with us! Fruit gummy snacks will be provided.
