Braiding Sweetgrass Discussion Before Author Visit

Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Braiding Sweetgrass, will be visiting Otterbein on March 28th as part of the Integrative Studies Lecture series. The library will be hosting a book discussion on March 16th, 6pm-7pm, to help prepare for Dr. Kimmerer’s visit – FYS, INST, and #CardsSTANDTogether approved! 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Courtright Memorial Library. Many events, programs, and activities are planned through 2022 to celebrate this milestone. In the late 1960s, it was becoming evident that the Centennial Library, attached to the back of Towers Hall, was no longer large enough to serve the growing needs of Otterbein’s students, staff, and faculty. Unique Internship Illuminates Career Options in Libraries for Nia Themelaras

When Nia Themelaras (Theatre and English, ’23) began to explore librarianship as a career, she turned to YouTube videos and blogs.
