Otterbein’s stellar equine teams have qualified to compete at both the Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) national championship and the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA). Students of any major are welcome to compete on the team.

Dressage Team: 

The dressage team qualified to compete at the IDA national championship from April 24-27 in the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, MO.

Dressage Team riders representing Otterbein at the IDA nationals are:   

• Lydia Mckenzie, Sophomore, Nursing.
• Ella Damrauer, First-year, Equine Veterinary Technology.
• Anna Pasela, Sophomore, Equine Business Management.
• Maya Samlan, Sophomore, Marketing and Equine Business.
• Delany Will, First-year, Biology and Zoo and Conservation Science.
• Ellie Linn, Senior, Psychology.
• Mia Basso, Junior, Equine Veterinary Technology.
• Maddy Gaber, Junior, Equine Pre-Veterinary Studies and Biology.
• Rachel Kulha, Senior, Systems Engineering.  

Hunt Seat Team:

The Hunt Seat Team finished the regular season as the Zone 6 champion team and will represent Otterbein at the IHSA national finals from May 2-4 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Tryon, NC.  May 2-4, 2025.

• Corinee Hause, Sophomore, Equine Pre-Veterinary Studies.
• Fiona Barnett Cross, Sophomore, Environmental Science and Sustainability Studies.
