If you’re a passionate learner looking for a graduate school experience with small class sizes, accessible faculty, and project-based learning, Otterbein is the perfect place for you.

Welcome to The Graduate School!

The Graduate School’s vision is to create engaged and transformed leaders who shape tomorrow. As a graduate student, you will be broadening and deepening your knowledge, and sharpening your ability to apply that knowledge as a leader in your chosen field.

True to Otterbein’s commitment to the liberal arts, our graduate curriculum incorporates insight from the liberal arts into each graduate-level class as appropriate. Our small class sizes enable you to get to know your professors and peers. And we understand the unique circumstances of working adults, who may also have families and other responsibilities. For this reason, we try to make earning your degree as convenient as possible.

The Graduate School provides service to all students pursuing graduate education. We invite you to further explore the Graduate School website to learn more about Otterbein’s Graduate School and the specific graduate programs we offer. We are committed to your success and look forward to your achievements.

– Bridget M. Newell, PhD, Interim Associate Provost for Graduate Studies

Why do students choose Otterbein for graduate school?

Personal attention…

Student learning comes first. Students interact with faculty face-to-face to build relationships that last. Otterbein alumni networks keep students connected long past graduation.

Engaged faculty to guide students…

Our graduate faculty know the issues in their respective fields and help students apply new knowledge in the clinic, the classroom, the boardroom and other professional environments.

Otterbein’s convenient location…

Otterbein’s beautiful campus is located in Westerville, just north of Columbus. As the population of Central Ohio grows, Otterbein provides learning opportunities close to home.
