Legacy Gift

Please consider supporting the Class of 1970 Endowed Legacy Scholarship.

The scholarship will help students of future generations enjoy the phenomenal education, friendship, and support, we all received during our time in the “quiet peaceful village.” Our goal for the scholarship is $25,000 in current gifts and pledge commitments. This will fully endow the fund, and it will live at Otterbein in perpetuity.

If you have not made your gift toward our class project, or if you would like to make an additional gift, please do. In addition to making gifts of cash or stock, you may also consider an IRA charitable rollover. Individuals who have reached age 72 can make a gift from their IRAs and in doing so may ultimately reduce their taxable income. Contact your IRA administrator for more information or to request a transfer. Please contact Kathleen Bonte, Executive Director of Development, in Otterbein’s Advancement Office to alert her to any forthcoming stock transfers or IRA distributions. All gifts and pledges, up to five years, made to the Class of 1970 Endowed Scholarship Fund by December 31, 2021, will be counted toward our goal. If you have any questions about making a donation, please contact the Advancement Office at (614) 823-1400. You can also make a donation by visiting otterbein.edu/give. In the Designation field, select “other” and enter “Class of 1970 Endowed Legacy Scholarship.”
