Swing into Summer
Friday, June 12, 2026 | 7:10 PM First Pitch | Progressive Field
Join fellow alumni and friends for Swing into Summer with the Cleveland Guardians – an evening of baseball, fireworks, and Otterbein Cardinal connections at Progressive Field. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m., but make plans with Cardinal friends to come early and enjoy the Pregame in the District featuring discounted domestic cans and food two hours before the Guardians take on the Detroit Tigers.
We have a special ticket block near the Blue Moon Terrace Garden, a great place to socialize while watching the game. Otterbein staff will be in the Blue Moon Terrace Garden from 6:00 p.m. until first pitch with giveaways (first come first served).
Wait…there’s more! Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show to cap off a memorable summer evening. Reconnect with classmates, enjoy a night at the ballpark, and and swing into summer with Otterbein alumni and friends in Cleveland!
Purchase your tickets today, and Otterbein will transfer your tickets the week of the game. Tickets will be mobile only and accessed on your MLB Ballpark App.
Between the Acts: Reception & Talkback with Randy Adams ’76

Join us for a special theater experience in Cleveland! Freak the Mighty, produced by Randy Adams ’76 and his production company, is premiering at the Allen Theatre in Cleveland, and you’re invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, June 20. Join us in the Levi Foyer of the Kimpton Schofield Hotel, for a reception between the matinee and evening performances. Also joining the celebration will be special guest and accomplished Broadway actress Dee Hoty ’74.
Discounted tickets for the performance time of your choice – matinee or evening – are available to those who submit the registration form below. Otterbein staff will send a confirmation email upon submission with details on how to purchase tickets along with further details of the reception between the matinee and evening performances.
