I graduated from Otterbein in 1978 with a major in business and minor in sociology, spending 24 years in garment-based promotional products before coming back to my alma mater to volunteer in Alumni Relations in 2011. In 2014, I began working full-time in Alumni Relations, then moved on to become executive assistant to vice president of Institutional Advancement, Michael McGreevey in 2019. Director of Alumni Engagement
Mary Beth Metz joined the Office of Alumni Engagement June 2022 as the Coordinator of Alumni & Family Programs and assumed the Director of Alumni Engagement role in December 2024, with a focus on deepening engagement with alumni, families and friends of Otterbein through programming and outreach. After receiving her BA from Lipscomb University, Mary Beth worked for the institution as an admissions counselor.
