Mark your calendar for Otterbein’s signature alumni and families event!

This fall, we’re continuing our two-day format and bringing back some favorite events from last year’s celebration. We’re also making a few exciting changes, based on your feedback:

The entire event will take place on the Towers Lawn, under the trees!
The Friday night concert will feature an alumni band! We’ll share details soon.
The Celebration of Otterbein Awards will take place on Friday night. All are welcome!
Saturday morning’s State of the University will become more informal, including time for Q&A with President Comerford.
We’ll have more lawn games, plus additional actitivies for kids on Saturday morning.
More of the seating will be away from the stage, allowing for better conversation opportunities.

And that’s just a short list of some of the ways we’re making Homecoming & Family Weekend even more fun for alumni, families, and community members of all ages.

4-6:30 p.m. | Cardy Hour With Faculty & Staff (Towers Lawn)
- Families, Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Staff are invited to this special gathering, featuring appetizers, beer and seltzer (for purchase), and non-alcoholic beverages.
7-9 p.m. | Homecoming Kickoff Concert (Towers Lawn)
- Live music
- Food trucks
- Biergarten
7 p.m. | Celebration of Otterbein Awards (Riley Auditorium)
- Alumni Awards Presentation and Celebration
- Private reception to follow (Invitation Only)

9-10 a.m. | State of the University & Conversation with President Comerford (Riley Auditorium)
- All alumni, students, families, faculty, and staff are welcome
10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Cardy Zone for Kids (Towers Lawn)
- Inflatables, games, crafts, a juggler, and more!
10-11 a.m. | Emeriti Faculty & Staff Open House (Shear-McFadden Science Center Atrium)
- Stop by and visit with your favorite emeriti faculty and staff!
11 a.m. | Homecoming Parade (Campus)
- View this annual tradition from the Towers Lawn without even leaving Cardy Zone and OtterFest!
11 a.m.-3 p.m. | OtterFest (Towers Lawn)
- Food, games, and entertainment
2 p.m. | Football vs. Marietta College (Memorial Stadium)
